HUMPday and catch-up!

Hey y'all sorry for the lack of posting lately.  Im not 100% sure what has kept me detained but feel like I have been pretty busy around these parts! I figured I would update y'all in one LONG WINDED post :), I would suggest taking a deep ole breath before diving in to this one, it's mostly rambling ha! If you don't make it to the bottom let's just say I don't blame you :)

This past weekend Bib and I traveled down to Richmond for the night to meet up with some of my favorite ladies! As I mentioned Friday, we had lots to catch-up on and celebrations to be had! We met up at this cute little restaurant in Carytown!! We may or may not have over stayed our welcome but hey we were having a great ole time! It was so fun!

The rest of the weekend consisted of lots of visiting, brunch with my dc loves at my new favorite spot, Market Tavern!, watching the boys ball it up on the courts, Chinese take-out yummm, BOARD GAMES (that's right FINALLY!) and The Oscars! Sheww that was a lot ha! Here are some of my fav gowns:

Just a GREAT little weekend if I must say so myself! Nothing like an update on a Wednesday!

The week has been go go go as well! I mean a Monday wouldn't be complete without The Bachelor! Have y'all been watching!?  Who is your fav?! Who do you think will win! I have really big bets on Lindsey!

Yesterday, Ry and I ROCKED THE RED! We went to the Caps v. Islanders game!! It was soooo fun!!! We were down pretty much ALL of the game, BUT... within the last 30 seconds tied for OT! CRAZYYYY! And.. WE WON!!! Such a great game!!!

Sheww now you can breathe! I'm done atleast for now :) haha! What have y'all been up to?

Fine taste for your palate!

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Bourbon Steak in G-town! My oh my it was delicioso if I do say so myself!

For starters they bring you out a trifecta of french fries-- heaavenly!! With three different sauces I must add! A great little start to the meal!

We topped our meal off with steak and veal- my mouth is watering just thinking about it! If you have not had the pleasure of dining there I would go ahead and add it to your list! :) Happy Tuesday!

4 days 'til Christmas! 

Stuff yourself silly...

... literally!! Recently Ry and I visited Ray's to the Third, the newest edition in the Ray's family!  It definitely lived up their name!  The only downside is the interior could stand to kick it up a notch or two!

We shared an oreo milkshakaroo for starters and both got stuffed burgs!!! I got the blue cheese and Ry the brie-- both were scrumdilliumptious!! Full of flavor and goodness!!

My hunger consumed me and I forgot to snap shots to share with y'all -- don't worry found one online!!!

Weekend update

Hey there!! So after a fun filled weekend I thought I would update y'all on all the happenings!!

Friday night Ry and I ventured out to Annandale for dinner (thanks to Bibble and Brandon's recommendation).  We went to HONEY PIG!  It was AWESOME!! The best way to describe this place, if you have not heard the word, is a Japanese Steak House and Melting Pot had a baby!! Each table has its own grill to cook your food and they load you up on veggies and rice! Here are some pics from the night . . .

 
Saturday we headed down to the F-burg to watch Bryce play ball.  We treated ourselves to good ole pumpkin spice lattes :) YUMMM for the drive down! What could be better!

 

Bryce scored the only touchdown of the game-- don't worry the NFL will be calling him soon :)

It was so nice out when we got back we decided to sit outside, enjoy a beverage or two, and watch some college football!!  We ended the night at V's house for a housewarming/bday party extravaganza!! It was so much fun and great to meet new people!
