Back to the real world

Well friends we made it back safely from our vacation and a WONDERFUL, GREAT, OUT OF THIS WORLD vacation at that! I could not imagine a better time! We packed in every day with the most amount of fun one could have! From scooters, dance parties, bahamma mama's, water slides, BUFFETS, to mexican beaches, guacamole (hahahaha!!) and lots of bday celebrations it was sure one to remember!! Here are a couple of shots from the trip :)

FEBRUUUAAARRRRRRYYYYY...

Welcome!!! I've been looking forward to you for quite some time and most of you know why!!! Me and my familia leave tomorrow to sail the ocean blue!!! I could not be more excited! My whole family is going on a "grown-up" vacation together!  Please pretty please send good weather our way! :)  We plan to jam pack each day fun of excursions and adventures while also sneaking in a little poolside action! Oh and don't forget about that super bowl, I'm sure none of us have experienced it quite like this before!!! 

So....what this means for you is that you will be seeing this here post for a wee bit of time!! In the meantime just picture me sunning it up and ringing in another great year for my wonderful mom!!! Can't wait to tell y'all  all about the trip! Hope y'all have a great rest of your week, until next week friends!

4 things . . .

WOW! I feel like I haven't done this in ages so what better time than now! 

1.  ONE WEEK TODAY we leave for our CRUISE!! I could not be more EXCITED!!!!!  Bring on the sunshine and cute little umbrella drinks!

2. Pintrest! Who's with me??!  This is the most fabulous thing to be invented!!! I mean it's crazzzzzy to think of my life without it ha!

3. AMARETTO creamer-- this seriously takes your coffee up soo many notches! I forget what normal coffee tastes like! YUMMM!!!

4. GRAPEFRUITS!!  They are the best winter fruit!  I love love love them in the mornings!! This weekend I am going to toast them in the oven with honey and brown sugar. Heard it makes for a real treat!

4 things . .

It's here It's here....Friday that is!!!! This week I'm lovin.....

1. WE BOOKED A CRUISE for the BEST mama in the world to help her celebrate her old lady-age-- not look wise though ;)-- whooop whooooop!!!! We are heading down to the Caribbean! It's our first trip as a "grown-up" family!! We used to travel lots when D and I were little but as we got older sports, activites and friends made things more difficult!!!! We have the whole gang even Big and Ry!!! T minus 89 days!!!!

2. My nail polish-- at first I couldn't decide my thoughts, but after starring at it for a while I've decided its a great fall color!

 (Essie -- very structured)

3. I'm going to test the waters with the train this afternoon and hitch a ride down to the F-burg to spend time with the Carr's! I'm sure it will be well worth skipping that dagblessed traffic-- sorry 95 I will not miss you!! Ry's grandma (Maw Maw) and his cousin will be in town!! I think we're planning to attend the Oyster Fest in Urbana-- YUMMMM Perfect Fall activity!! 

4.  PUNKIN, pumpkin, pukin, however you say PUMPKIN I love it!!! From the pumpkin pie I made earlier this week to the pumpkin flavoring in my coffee, pumpkin breads, muffins, and squares oh my-- I'm loving it all!! For some reason pumpkin things just make me feel warm and toasty all over! yummmm!
